Search the net from a cell phone

No, I'm not talking about using a smart phone. You can search the net from any cell phone that has Text Messaging! Simply call or text an organization called ChaCha and someone will do the search for you and TM you back the answer. Give it a try and tell us what you asked and what the answer was.

Call 1-800-2Cha-Cha and speak the question you have or
Text ChaCha (242242) with the question

2-3 mins later, you will receive your answer!

That's a cool idea, but I can't think of an situation other than possibly camping when you'd desparetly need to browse the internet but wouldn't have access to it.

That's a great tool. I was on a bus on the way home from camp and I used it to check scores and it is a easy way to use the net without having to pay 30 bucks a month for it.

ChaCha is sweet. I like it a lot because sometimes when i am doing homework on the bus or at study tables before wrestling and i have a question that nobody can answer, i text ChaCha. For instance once i texted "Who am I" and it answerd me this: "Your name is Peter Ilchovski, you live in Cincinnati Ohio and you are interested in wrestling."

I think this is a great idea. I sometimes, at a random time, want to look something up when I'm no where near a computer. I always have a cell phone, so this could be pretty helpful to me. Also, if your in an emergency, this could be a useful feature.

I definately think that this could be a useful tool wether it's an emergency or just everyday use. There are certainly times when I see something that I am interested in but dont have a computer to use. However, with this I could look up info wherever.

ChaCha is fantastic. I have used it once before when we had the big power outage and I was able to find out about school closings, the weather, an any alerts that were out about our area. It was a great help.

ChaCha is a great tool but every once in a while they will either send you the wrong answer, or mix up two questions and send you the answer to a different question.

I sent about 15 questions to see how accurate it was. It answered one of my questions incorrectly and I replied and said "that is not the correct answer, the correct answer is *blank*." This is what they said, "You are correct, but *blank* is also listed as one of the answers."

So it corrects itself. Also I found out that you only get 20 questions per month for free.
