Pulse Point is a really cool app. People who know CPR and are willing to help others in need can install this app on their smart phone. Then, when 911 gets an emergency call, they send out an alert to those near by who can start CPR while the ambulance is in route.
What other kinds of needs are there that could use this type of response?

I think this app is a great idea if it actually helps people, its something new and something that alot of people will not feel comfortable with right away, but people will learn to embrace the technology and use it for there advantage and safety. I'm curious how many places have actually made the deal with this company to actually alert them before the ambulance can get there.
