Is Hollywood REALLY running out of originality?

Movies are pretty much one of the most highly regarded forms of entertainment, with only video games, books, and TV shows coming close. With taking a couple or several years to make, billions upon billions of dollars are put into them for the only purpose of what they were made to do, entertain. We all practically can name a curtain phrase from one or a character that stands out. A movie, however comes to a point where it gains so much game that there becomes a demand for a continuation or simply reintroduce. Sequels and Remakes respectively come into play. With the recent amount of new sequels or remakes coming out, does any think that this is just simple progression, or over saturation? Discuss in the comments below.

@Demken, my husband and I disagree over all the Comic Book movies. He loves them, I'm kind of tired of them

@demken I think in some instances theyu are running out of stuff but in others, superhero/Star Wars, they can keep going because in some of them they were books before they were even thinking of making movies
