Unmanned drones are all over the news. Most recently, a man lost control of the one he was playing around with and it ended up landing on the White House lawn. And Amazon is testing using them to deliver packages. You can even take "drone selfies!!"
What else would you like to see drones used for?

It's interesting to think the future is that close to bring packages with drones. However, they are not replacements for Mail Trucks and depending on the weather conditions, it's better to just use a vehicle rather than a flying droid. Still a nice idea.
@Devin a simple fix to your problem ofthe weather conditions would be to adjust the technology used in flying drones to work for land bound drones. With this method you still have the problem of unloading the package(s) so it isn't a perfect solution.
@BrendanBiggs I think that is a good solution but like you said not a perfect one. One thing you could do is change some designs to the flying drones to make it work a little better.
When places like amazon have to ship merchandise, it would get to the buyer a lot faster than my car.
@Brendan I feel like that would take to much time just to deliver mail wouldn't it? We could be using these land drones for much more better services like Services like weather.
I think in the future we could use unmanned drones for many things. It could be used to ship packages, mail, the newspaper, and get deliveries when we buy things online. I do think the drone could be improved to make them easier to control, and fly in bad weather.
