Wearable tech for kids coming from LeapFrog

This new tech for kids is based on exercise and learning activities. It's called the "LeapBand". Starting at $40 for kids 4-7, this new band offers 50 different games and challenges for kids to play. It encourages healthy habits and active play for kids. LeapBand is a kid's very own smart watch!

Seems like just another way to make money. 40$ for a kids watch seems a bit overpriced.

I see this as a cheap way to keep your young child entertained. This is great for kids since it has video games and is not overpriced like other sytems. (Wii U)

This I think will definitely make younger generations even more tech savvy than their parents and previous generations. However I think it may be a distraction sometimes to younger children who may not yet necessarily need it but if encourages healthy habits then maybe they do.

That looks to cheap and too scary

This looks cool for younger kids to learn and have fun. But $40 is a little pricy though, I think $30 or $20 would sell more units. Cool idea though.

i think that kids are getting closer to technology every year. they need to slow down a bit. A watch for 7 yrs and younger, they really don't need this.
