The Tablet competition is heating up. The two that are looking to be top competitors are the Motorola Xoom (Android) and the Blackberry Playbook (RIM). With prices well below old-fashioned laptops, do you think you'd ever want one? Could you do your school/college work with just a Tablet and a word processor in-the-cloud (say Google Docs)? With video calling all the rage now, could you use a Tablet instead of a cellphone?

I want one, I really want one for free =], so I dont have to pay this... [IMG]http://i52.tinypic.com/2ponx1d.jpg[/IMG]
I would rather use a cellphone because you can take it anywhere and can keep it in your pocket as well rather than carring it. Tablets use wireless interent which requires you to be at home or somewhere with a free wireless connection. So, i would use a cellphone.
i dont get what this is can some one explain....Ben the awsome signing out

Cool. bye.
@Rupali, there are 2 models of iPads, the more expensive one can use 3G also.
@Dylan, great idea for the picture. Sadly, it looks like blogger doesn't accept IMG tags :(
But it does accept HREF tags :)

So... i'm really a laptop guy myself. i love my android lots and my sister's iPad is pretty cool, but i just feel more comfortable with a system i'm used to - Windows. For argument's sake, here is an article debating tablets and netbooks.
This is the official website for buying ipads, check it out!
