Using Kinect to Surf the Net

Hackers at MIT have combined MS Kinect's body moving software with Javascripts for surfing the net. They call it Depth JS. It is a browser extension that allows users to navigate the web using hand gestures. What other applications would be cool to use without a mouse or keyboard?

I would definitely buy this. There has got to be some sort of market for products like this. These should be marketed.

An application that would be cool to use would be photoshop or any other artistic program. Using something like Kinect to perform it would basically be a virtual art studio.

Great idea. Kinect is really awesome and makes it easy to navigate through the Xbox. Great idea putting that ability to use on a browser.

@Larry, have you seen this?

@Larry - That sounds like a terrific idea! I was thinking about a possible use in illustrator and that would be an awesome feature.
@Ms.H - How would you go about making Kinect compatable with other programs, like a web browser or other software?
